Flo

Designed for the GIA Inspired Home Show, Flo brings the therapeutic comfort of aromatherapy together with the meditative pace of kinetic sculpture. The project began as a thumbnail sketch exploring how scent and motion could work together.

A rotating metal ring carries warmed wax across its surface, creating a continuous, hypnotic flow while releasing fragrance without an open flame. Independent speed and heat controls let the user adjust the experience.

The ring rests on magnetic rubber wheels, keeping it stable during use while allowing it to be removed for cleaning or changing scent. Six color directions—Ocean, Moss, Bone, Lavender, Graphite and Clay—explore a palette inspired by natural materials.
